THE OCCASION WAS CHAIRED BY THE DIVISIONAL OFFICER FOR YAOUNDE VI, ETONDI JOSEPH ALLAIN WHO CALLED ON ALL ASSUNDRY TO BE FLAG BEARERS IN ALL THEIR VAROIUS TRADES AND OPTIONS, AND ALSO TO PUT IN PRACTICE WHAT THEY HAVE LEARNED IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER.
THE OCCASION WAS ALSO ATTENDED BY REPRESNTATIVES FROM PARTNER UNIVERSITIES, AND AN ACADEMIC DISCUSS WAS DONE BY ONE OF THE VISITING REPRESENTATIVES, Professor VALANTINE NGALIM BANFEGHA from the University of Bamenda. He talked on the theme PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE AND THE CRISIS OF CULTURE, wherein he called on all from the different departments to put into practice professional education and the culture of the 21st century. We had speeches from the Directress of Academics, Mme. NGEMEZON CHARLOTTE MEKONTSO, the Manager and Registrar, Mr. KEBUYA NATHANIEL NGANCHI the class coordinator for HND STUDENTS, ROMA NYUYKWI and for Degree students DORIS MUNYONG. Both the administration and students were happy for a successful end and called all aspiring students to trust HIPTEX. The occasion was graced with traditional dances, fashion parade by the fashion clothing department, and exhibition of articles.
The ceremony ended with feasting at different ends.
